Marinated Flank Steak

1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbs honey
2 Tbs red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
3/4 cup vegetable oil or olive oil
1 onion chopped 
1. Trim fat off steak and score diagonally.  
2. Combine soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic powder and ginger in a bottle and shake well.  Add oil, onion and shake.
3. Marinade steaks for at least 4 hours.
4. Grill 6 minutes per side for medium-rare.  
5.  Slice thinly on the diagonal.
